26.02.2024On February 22-23, 2024, our university hosted two EAS (European Athlete Student) Board representatives, in connection with the work of organizing the Annual EAS conference, that our Academy is hosting this year: „Dual career at school and university - innovative bridges between sports and education”, which will be held on October 1-3 of 2024.

SMARTherapy+ Multiplier Event
23.10.2023On October 13th, at the Aula Magna of the Polytechnic University of Milan, a multiplier event concerning modern technologies applied to gait analysis, the results of the common project, where among other Academy of Physical Eduation is a partner, "SMARTherapy+ - Smart learning for gait physiotherapy” were presented and discussed.

PRECOP 27 – a two-day climate conference in the run-up to the COP27 Climate Summit in Egypt
16.08.2022PRECOP 27 is a high-level two-day conference aimed at preparing the Polish position for the Climate Summit in Egypt. During the event, we will see the recap of the outcomes of the previous Climate Summit (COP26) and see which issues were successfully dealt with and which still need to be picked up at COP27.

AWF Katowice with the highest scientific category (A +) in the discipline of physical education
09.08.2022The Law on Higher Education and Science introduced new provisions on the four-year evaluation of universities and research institutes. The evaluation assigns scientific categories in individual scientific disciplines.
